You’re On The Right Track

You want to give up.

You think your idea is too big. You feel you’re unqualified. You fear that at any moment they’ll figure out that you’re a fraud.

You feel alone. A lot.

You wonder if it’s worth it. You miss your old life at times. Things were so easy back then.

You miss the joys of being young. Of having no responsibility. Of having nobody to be accountable to.

You wonder if you’re going crazy. The thoughts that go through your mind sometimes scare you. They’re darker than anything you’ve ever experienced.

You struggle to make any progress some days. You feel like Sisyphus, pushing that stupid boulder up the hill.

You feel like you’re on the verge of total meltdown.

You’ve burned the ships. There’s no turning back. You have to make this work.

And you’re fucking scared.

I’m glad.

You’re on the right track.

And I’m right there with you. And so are most of my friends.

If this were easy everyone would be doing it. But it’s not.
